Ground condition control and ground suitability
When controlling the humidity level on the ground, care should be taken to ensure that the specified humidity levels are not exceeded. In checking the smoothness of the surface to be laid; Care must be taken to ensure that the floor is absolutely flat and that small irregularities are corrected with a mattress laid on the floor.
Unevenness exceeding 3 mm over 1 metre must be corrected by chipping, scraping or levelling screed. The subfloor must be rigid and must not flex. Its temperature must be at least 15 degrees, and the temperature difference between the subfloor and the flooring must not exceed +3 degrees. Ensure that the subfloor is thoroughly clean.
